Task Dates are available in the Sign-up Sheets Pro plugin. In the Free version of the plugin, you can set a date on the sheet as a whole. With Task dates you can instead choose to set dates on each task.

Admin screen with fields for date and task information on a sheet.
On the “Edit Sheet” page in the admin, you will find the “Use task dates” checkbox next to the Date field. Below tasks display with their standard table with columns like “What” (the task title) and “# of Spots”.
Admin screen showing task dates enabled with a new column to enter a date for each task on the sheet.
On the “Edit Sheet” page in the admin, with the “Use task dates” checkbox selected, the Tasks table below adds a new column for “Date” to set a date per task.

Task Dates display on the frontend as a new column in the main task table. The format the date is displayed uses the same one selected in your WordPress general settings in your admin at Settings > General > Date Format.

Using the main Sheet Date field allows for disabling and removing of the sheet once the date has passed. If you choose to set Task Dates instead, the task itself will become disabled once the date has passed.

Sign-up sheet with a column for "When" and each task has it's own date.
Example of a sheet task table with three columns for “What” (the task title), “When” (the task date), and “Name”.
Sign-up sheets with a column for "When". The 2 tasks with a date in the past show with a greyed out background while the 3rd remaining task has a white background and still available for sign-up.
Example of a sheet task table with 3 tasks, the first two are dates in the past and shown with a greyed out background and any previous active “Sign up” links are now inactive and read as “(empty) – sign-ups closed”
